Years ago, when we\u2019d go to the botanical gardens just outside of town, she could point out different flowers and tell me their common name and often their name in Latin. She could often explain whether they liked sun or shade or needed a lot of water.\u00a0 I would laugh and say,, \u201cGreat shade of orange.\u201d\u2019\u00a0 \u00a0I am sure there are subjects where I am curious to know something in more depth and other things for which I am just grateful for the exposure.
