Sometimes, a great way to recognize what you are most grateful for is to think about how your life would be different without it. Think of something or someone you see every day. Imagine what it would be like if you didn’t. What would you miss the most? What sights and sounds? What qualities would be absent from your life or in shorter supply? The next time you see that person or thing, ask yourself how they positively impact you. Write your thoughts down, paying special attention to their uniqueness and to your feelings.
