Breathe. Two, three, four. It’s funny how many people have learned to give themselves time-outs to breathe because some segment on Good Morning America told them that an occasional deep breath was good for them. Many have learned about the benefits of conscious breathing as a life hack for self-regulating and dealing with anxiety. Not just is it good to take a moment to breathe, it’s also refreshing to take a few minutes to think: to ponder what’s really important to you or how people might look at the same thing differently. Take five minute each day this week – to do nothing else but think. What insights came to you because you gave yourself the time? What can you think of being grateful for?
