The words of children are often unfiltered. They will tell you what they think. They don’t hold back. Their faces say a lot about whether they like something or don’t. Think about something you really liked when you were ten years-old.  Baseball?  Riding your bike? Snuggling under a blanket? Making up stories? This honesty and directness of expression can translate into authenticity, which is essential for a fruitful gratitude practice. Think about one thing from your childhood that you really cherished. What might be the main quality that you loved? Think about how that quality is accessible or can be experienced in your life now.
