So many people hesitate when asked about their creative output. Yes, you might label what songwriters, or visual artists, or product developers do as creative. I also tip my metaphorical hat to single moms who can feed their families on a ridiculously tight budget, to commuters who come up with strategies for avoiding traffic (without the Waze app), and cooks who add just the right spice, in just the right amount, to make a dish perfect. Can you think of something creative you did (maybe a costume design or decorating triumph, or a work-around for a technical problem, or object — maybe a gift—you made by hand) that you were especially pleased with? What might you like to thank yourself for?
