We celebrate October 12th as “Columbus Day” to recognize Christopher Columbus’s discovery of the Americas. The date is often celebrated as an Italian heritage, “pride” day, as Columbus hailed from Genoa. While his travels can stir up thoughts about adventure and exploration, the discovery of America might also be the greatest lesson in humbly adjusting plans. When the New World was discovered, Columbus was actually in search of something else, a more direct route to the Far East. Join us for this talk and discussion on valiant efforts and unplanned discoveries.

Wednesday, October 12th, 7:00 PM CT (Email deborah@nosmallthing.net to reserve your spot. The first 30 people will be sent links for this program.)
