Famous Tennessee Williams character, Blanche du Bois, once exhaled, “I’ve always been indebted to the kindness of strangers.” Think about a gesture or moment of kindness received from a stranger where you benefitted twice. Their help allowed you to get home or make a call or buy a much needed meal. In retrospect, the experience also restored your faith in the general goodness of people, or belief in synchronicities, or acted as a warning of things to keep your eyes out for. Think of one such situation. At first pass, what were you grateful for? When you looked at the situation more deeply, what else did you receive?
