Remember when you were a child and little colorful candles topped your birthday cake? At a time when you were the center of attention, you looked inside yourself to make a wish. Maybe you wished for a toy that you just saw on TV or wished for something a friend of yours had. Maybe you wished for a puppy or a pet that could become a special friend. Now close your eyes. With that same kind of childhood abandon – forget about how easy or hard it might be to fulfill your wish immediately – make a wish.  What did you wish for? What does your wish tell you about what you’d be grateful for? Is any part of this wish already in your life?  Have you made any efforts or seen any signs that you’re moving towards realizing your wish?  Write down your thoughts.  Have you thought about what a blessing it is to even know what you want?
