The start of a new year often brings up thoughts about goals or intentions. This year, I had to ask myself what might add joy or flavor to my life. Rather than think about related examples as things I should do, I decided to simply create this short list of things that produce joy in me. I want to become more aware of my feelings when I’m engaged in those activities. I want to remember that I’m giving myself time to enjoy these things because I deserve to be happy. Think of three things you like to do, and that you can do often. How might you amplify your feelings when you’re engaged in this?
