When things are quiet, when I am quiet, I have found myself better able to notice little things like the sound of footsteps, or a bird singing, or the sound of my own breath. What types of things do you tend to notice more when you’re quiet, things that make you smile? I sometimes call these the sounds of silence. Think of two or three ways you can welcome quiet into your day and take time to appreciate these little things now that you can notice them.
