Many people have been guided on mindfulness meditations. It can be an eye-opening experience to sit quietly for a few minutes and deliberately shift focus between different things; sounds in the environment, the movement of air in your nostrils, the sensation of your sweater on your skin, how time seems to slow down. This process of slowing things down and paying extra attention provides clues on what’s important to you, what you are deeply grateful for and how you make decisions. Take five minutes each day for the next week to sit quietly and just notice what makes a strong impression on you. What can you learn from this experience?
