Read some selections by a favorite poet or passages by a favorite author. Pick out a couple lines that especially resonate with you. (I am fond of Rumi… “A circling world held by your gravity,” or ee Cummings… “Kisses are better than wisdom.”)  Write a description of a scene that incorporates the quote or embodies the conceit.
