I always seem to tune in to conversations people have on their cell phones in public places. I imagine what the other person is saying by what the call recipient says as responses, by his tone of his voice and body language. I consider whether the person on the other end of the conversation is making a request, s demand, or an apology. Is the other person providing information, simply expressing a thought or feeling, or looking for some sort of confirmation? How about you? Can you recall hearing one side of a conversation and imagining the full exchange?
