When I was fourteen, I wanted a guitar very badly. I went to several music stores where they sold guitars with my father who liked to negotiate “deals.” I remember finding a guitar I liked, but my father was ready to walk out of the store, claiming that he could strike a better deal at another store. I was ready to cry, “but I like this one.” Before my father and I headed for home, we reached the price that my father had in mind AND the salesman threw in a case for no extra charge. Recall an experience where you identified something you wanted, went through a period where you didn’t think you could have it, then ended up getting more what you wanted, How did you feel at different points? Write a few paragraphs about this experience
