At your next meal, take a few bites BEFORE you season your food. Think about what your food tastes like. Then add salt and pepper or your favorite spice. What exactly does putting salt or pepper (or oregano or basil) do to your experience of eating? Imagine combing your hair, or watching TV, or going about any type of routine activity. What can you do to enhance your experience of the activity? How can you season this activity so that you enjoy it as much as possible?
